While researching a cutting technique and paper collage, I found an advertisement about the quilling technique. So I decided to buy this book, starter kits, materials and watch videos.

Quilling is a way to create images with the use of curled paper strips in different shapes. I started making miniature pieces of flowers, plates, cups and then I made images on a flat paper.

It is a technique that requires patience (it takes more time to complete an image) and delicate hands. I like to do creations little by little without a specific image to achieve.

My quilling paper are quite thin with only 3 mm wide. I prefer the warm tones that recall the summer and spring.

I have some projects to do with this technique, including more gardens and scenerios. =)

To find out more about my work in quilling, I invite you to visit my blog quilling category.
