Colorful Curled Paper: quilling technique

Purple and blue, night colors

quilling details in purple and blue

This image shows my quilling work entitled “Paper Garden” with some Photoshop color experiments. The art was done carefully by hand with 3mm wide strips of paper. After preparing the pieces, it was time to glue them into a paper – often with the help of tweezers. I can say that it took me a long time to do this delicate artwork.

The original colors refer to a summer palette that I like a lot. But after digitalizing the original, I wanted to try new effects. I liked the varied tones and the “night” version caught my attention. So, here is the Paper Garden in blue and purple tones.
