Studying cute kitten

watercolor studies

I was studying last week how to draw cats. In fact, to be more precise, Ozzy, the cat of my cousin and her friend!

I got some pictures of this fat kitten  to better understand his proportions, look, colors and fur.

I made some attempts during that week. Not so easy to draw a cat when I’m so used to draw dogs.. I still wanted to understand more about Ozzy, including his personality, to put his expressions and way of being in the paper. In this photo (taken my Instagram), you can see the watercolor still drying and the colors on overlapping layers.
