handmade green box and notebook bookbinding

Here are manual bookbinding works. I started studying these techniques at the end of my course in industrial design (2006/2007) at Rio de Janeiro and then, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This knowledge gave me a base on different materials, especially paper. I learnt about to do notebooks, seams, boxes, hard covers, for example. I also learnt about manual paper production.

During a time, I developed some albums sell, including the miniature albums for 3x4cm pictures. They could hold family photos, little drawings or whatever you wanted.

About the hard covers, sometimes I tried to use a Japanese technique called Oshie to create images like the Sugar Loaf. It was made of paper, cardboard and foam.

This path lead me to learn about the quilling technique.
